The SRX-22G utilizes a lot of the same characteristics of the residential models only with industrial gear motors and electronics.  The 24VDC electric drive motors are rated for continuous use to allow day-in day-out reliability for the lawn care professional.  Our commercial lawn equipment is designed to be used all day, everyday in the roughest applications such as clearing thin brush from hill-sides and slope mowing.  As with all of Southern RobotX lawn mowers, the SRX-22G is equipped with a engine shut-off switch for added safety in addition to the on-board electronic fail safe. electric start.
