The SRX-24 is much like the smaller 12 Volt D.C units only this time the 24 Volt D.C. electric drive motors come into play.  These high torque gear motors are designed for extreme load conditions far greater than what is required in this application.  Power enough for slopes up to 40 degrees is no surprise with the power and grunt of the SRX-24 series remote control mowers.  As with all models, the engine is equipped with remote engine shut-off in case of emergency for added safety in addition to the electronic fail-safe.
